OUR NONPROFITS IN ACTION

The Triangle community is blessed with hundreds of wonderful nonprofit organizations serving in life-changing ways. Mission Triangle is fortunate to have the opportunity to work with many of them. From homeless shelters to reading programs, from job training to discipleship, from addiction recovery to crisis pregnancy and from refugee support to re-entry support, for many, these organizations are the lifeblood of this community.

Feel free to reach out to us if there is a specific cause or nonprofit you are interested in pursuing. We are happy to answer any questions and look forward to connecting you with some amazing leaders. In the meantime, check out the three nonprofits highlighted below and the stories of how together, our partnership has increased Kingdom impact! And remember, these organizations represent only a handful of the hundreds of nonprofits with whom we work.

Trinity Academy of Raleigh did not have an annual fund and knew they needed one. They felt like their families were tapped out financially and exhausted from being asked for money. Trinity needed help cultivating a culture of giving and asking aligned with their beliefs and values as a school. Mission Triangle helped Trinity create a development philosophy that reflected biblical principles of asking, giving and receiving which has been transformational. Mission Triangle coached Trinity through their first banquet, The Exceptional Evening, which has been the driver behind their Annual Fund and grown each year since inception (both by dollars raised and champions engaged).

House of Hope (HOH) has had more tenure with Mission Triangle than most of our clients. Originally HOH came to Mission Triangle for grants, back when we were solely a granting organization. Over the past 20 years, they’ve remained engaged benefitting from all of our service offerings: training, coaching, assessing and granting.

CORRAL Riding Academy’s start as a nonprofit aligned perfectly with the timing of Mission Triangle’s transition from solely a granting organization to a teaching, coaching and consulting organization as well. Prior to our engagement, Joy Currey (ED) had very little experience with or knowledge of how to successfully run a nonprofit. Upon our engagement, the ministry began intentionally applying all the principles we teach along the Mission Triangle journey, including but not limited to board governance, fundraising and special events. And within five years, CORRAL pulled off their Million Dollar Miracle, raising $1MM in a matter of three months to save their farm.
